Project Controls for Potash Mine

Midgard acted as a sub-consultant to deliver project controls services for the consulting team for a new solution mine installation.

Midgard built the project plan and critical path resource loaded schedule to ensure timelines were met and the project stayed on track. This included capturing the technical complexities of moving 3,500 m3 of water to the mine, and consultations with various stakeholders.

The project evaluated the opportunity to draw water from a local lake and pump it approximately 70km to the mine site, and it involved a solution mine for extracting ore as well as supporting projects which included a new water supply to the mine site.

Midgard successfully conducted monthly reporting and earned value analysis to determine project status and predict final project performance.
